What is the torque spec for a 727 transmission pan gasket using a 3/16" reusable gasket. I have seen anywhere from 7 ft lbs up to 12 ft lbs. Thanks

Not knowing the actual gasket material I’d shoot for 10 ft lbs. Snug by hand, tighten in a few increments to 10. Wait a little, recheck. Keep an eye on each bolt for any excessive gasket squish out.

125” lb on mine so many times I’ve lost count

More important than the torque spec is to get the holes back flat on the pan rail, or the pan rail will never meet the transmission rail and seal.
