I'm putting a 727 into my brother's dart. I have a driveshaft that, when installed, has 3/8 inch yoke play. Is this enough? I know typically 3/4 to 1 is average. Will the suspension move enough to bottom out the yoke in the trans with only 3/8 movement?

That's pretty darn tight, but it is more than Zero, lol..
Don't forget about pinion wrap-up under power. I fabricated a couple of spacers, to install between the spring mounting brackets and the body. I got another quarter inch on the factory studs. I needed it anyway for tire clearance.

Also remember that as the car is launching forward, the engine and trans are getting pulled back against rubber/poly mounts and even motor plates can flex a bit!

Better to have a little too much clearance than not enough.
