73 340 duster Seat belt inner lock relay location.

Does anyone know where The seatbelt interlock relay would have been mounted factory on a 73 duster.... Mine is just basically hanging there.Just curious it would have been from the factory

I didnt think the interlock came to market until the '74 model year.

If you are talking about the seatbelt and key-in buzzer, those are mounted up above the driver kick panel

This one's the relay that mounts on the firewall.Or fender somewhere has the red reset

ok, yeah. sounds like the interlock. I thought they were one year only for 74 but maybe your 73 was a late model year vehicle. They were located on the upper driver side apron

I just looked on my duster and there is no holes For that relay In that location... The search continues l o l

Are you sure your harnes/wiring in your car is original to the body?

You should just remove the interlock system

It looks to be original.
It also looks like the interlock stuff under the dash has been bypassed or something I know.
That it doesn't Work in the car still Starts and runs

There are no screw holes in that location

Would this be in the same location with a 340?Speed mine doesn't seem to have any mounting holes anywhere

You have an interesting mystery.
The dash wiring is definitely a 73 harness.
How about the date code on the left inner fender body tag.
