Im looking for some pictures of how a 73-74 Duster with the Hood blackout treatment was masked off under the hood and firewall. Also would the bottom of the hood be painted body color (i believe it was) or black ?

Im not sure what they are selling as a decal. The hood should be painted not a sticker.

Perhaps the pin stripe on the inside is what they are selling. Ive only seen the pinstripe on pictures of twisters though, Not 340 cars which is odd. It also seems that if the car had a vinyl roof the entire cowl got painted black but if it was a painted top the blackout stays on the inside of the windshield trim.

I believe they are selling the whole thing as a decal I know they were painted just thought might save you time and from what I have seen under hood is bodies color

That decal would be a nightmare to install. The hood isnt flat. Plus I already bought the paint.

A couple of pics - mine, a 73, and the factory manual. It is painted, with a tape trim.
