oh yeh...keep the orange...no more rum and cokes while thinking about the color.....

Weld it!......

Thanks,
One year in to the build ..personally I thought I'd be a little closer to paint by now ...of course if I quit thinking of stuff to modify/upgrade or change I might be in color.

It's doesnt seem like it's been a year....... Looking fantastic.

It's getting there slowly, I'm excited about getting the flush side markers in ....hopefuly next week or so they willl be in and I'll have some pics. then all I have to do is make the rear lip spoiler and find a body guy.

trust me Denny,
Some things may change, but the color isn't..although I am considering adding some more orange to get leaning away from the yellow ..nah ,I'll leave it alone.

I love the color, and I wish I could be so sure about picking one. It is a big decision so you should love it. :thumblef:

I still prefer my mental picture in post #512...not that I'm a fan of the black and gold. I've told many of the steeler boys when I was stationed at Pittsburgh, that they are the reason I'm not a fan, not the players...oh by the way.......The wife will be escorting me to Norwalk in a couple weeks, but I already told her she's not allowed to go to the Nats because it was not allowed per the boys and she's cool with that.

I'll try to keep my smart a** remarks to a minimum

I assume that's Cheddar? Gee my Bahama Yellow Road Runner used to be called baby sh*t brown....so this is definatley an improvement.

Ross...sorry to miss you guys yesrerday....but good to hear from you

I thought I had my car runnin great...but with all the catch-up and bad weather since the Nats...no real time to go for a long drive...just 5 to 6 mile trips to the coffee shop....when I fired it up yesterday morning to head to the coffee shop to meet up w/Bro John and Weeb...I knew I was in trouble...however because it was cold out...I was hoping maybe this aluminum motor was just cold blooded....that just wasn't the case...so after coffee we headed back to the shop and spent 45 minutes trying to "tune it" for the trip....then jumped into the Challenger for the ride to Norwalk..

the second we got back I went to work....pulling the carbs and checking the float levels...shame on me for not doing that simple procedure when we returned from the Nats...but ....as suspected both carbs floats were not only too high allowing fuel to spill into the throttle body...but the drop was way off too...not sure if the drop would really effect the running that much

John still feels I have a bad (new) coil ...but one thing at a time

I'm sure between all you smart guys working on it that you'll get it sorted out....after I spoke with you yesterday we headed to the race side of the track to visit several friends but once we found them at the North end of the track we weren't about to walk back over to the Show side (if you can call it that). That was very disappointing, no car corral and a very weak turn out for the show cars (we get more at the local Summit Racing Mopar show)

yeah....I know what you mean....but I didn't care if only five cars showed up....I would have like to have been one of them.....

actually I thought maybe you were avoiding us so you didn't have to share the rum.....but is was kinda early..... ya' know?

hey.....wasn't your wife comin?....maybe thats why you avoided us.....just sayn'

The wife had Emergency surgery on the Sept 9th for a hot appendix so she wasn't up for the trip .....we sent a bottle of Rum along in the race trailer....I think we started about 1:30.

Well, needless to say Weeb didn't find a valance for the Demon!
Denny, wow, what a shame about the floats. Did you get them set? Any seat time after you set them? If you didnt set them then why are you fooling around on the computer!
I should have made the trip. It would have been fun just to tell stories with you boys. Oh well, maybe I will have to come visit the Brothers and check on the Dart.

I was setting the floats last night....but then got a call from Jodee that she was home and wanted to get some Tacos....so I punched out and finished it up early this afternoon...

I'll go back over tonight and see if it helped....then if it still gives me fits....I'll swap out the coil...

come on over anytime....you know for a little look see and whatnot (B.S.)

PS....sorry no valance...real weak swap meet
