What'd you have done additionally to the heads? It'll be neat to meet you and see the car in '25, I'm sure it'll run really well.

Guys, I am the new owner of "Fred." I am very pleased with the car and couldn't be happier with the seller Bill. I will try and keep this post going. The car is off to paint and I had the cylinder heads redone. I ordered a Turbo Action Converter and am currently working with Racer Brown for a new cam selection. I will continue what Bill wanted for Fred. I am confident Fred will see a 9.99et this coming season!

Happy to hear you bought Fred. What turbo action converter did you go with? As in what part number?

ValiantS nothing major to the heads. Cleaned up, valve job, and shims added to add more seat pressure to accommodate new camshaft.

After long discussion with Paul this is what he recommended. I inquired about the 48 and he was adamant it would be to much. Boosted (Bill) barrowed a #42 and the #46 will stall higher then the 42. Hopefully the 46 will be enough because don’t really wanna have to pull the trans to send it back! I really did push trying to get the 48. But, I’d assume the expert knows best.

Ahh now my memory is refreshed. I couldn’t remember what we discussed if the 46 or 48 would be the way to go but now I remember the 46 is what Paul recommended. I’m happy you got a
Turbo action converter and went with the recommendation from Paul. I think you’ll be happy with his converter. I know I sure am.
