73 duster fenders on a 70 duster

Is a 73 duster fender the same as a 70 duster fender? they look the same except for the marker light. is there any other differences other then that??

No, the two fenders are the same with the exception of the marker light you mentioned. I am using a 1975 fender on a 1971 Duster. I just cut out the marker light opening from my original fender......

Don't you also need the little tab that holds the upper grille support?

im trying to put 73 fenders on my 72. only difference is the support tab for the upper grill panel. (where hood striker is)

the tab is present on 70-72 but absent 0n 73 and later.

Solutions:
im thinkin about cutting the tab off and having bodyshop tack it back on.
or
even cheaper. take some aluminum cut to shape and rivet it under the fender lip and drill hole for bolt.

if theres any other solutions, please letme know

I am using 74 fenders so I will be moving the little tab from my original fenders and welding it on the new ones.
