Guys, Trying to get some basic HVAC stuff fixed and the PO did not leave me the vacuum actuator for the water valve. Where can I find one? Also, what does it look like for a 73 Duster Slant 6? My manual has a diagram but its not clear. Anyone got a close-up pic or a reliable source for one?

Thanks in advance,

The part linked above is a functional aftermarket replacement that works for several applications including Aspolare (F-bodies) through '80. It'll work just fine if you're not trying to impress show judges. Searching the 'Bay or web for 3579173, 4034436, 3441789, 277717 or H25-136 (plus the word "valve" to exclude unrelated) will often net you the exact same replacement valve for a bunch less. Here's one for $50 with free shipping; he has multiple listings for the same valve under different applications.

If you're a stickler for absolutely correct, well, the factory part used from 1971-'74 (3579173) looked like this:

Unfortunately, it's the same valve used on '71-'73 B-bodies with the Strato-Vent heater system (not AC) so when you do find one, it's expensive. The one pictured sold for $395.
