74 Dart Sport hood hinges

I'm removing the fiberglass pin on hood that was on the car when I bought it so I need to install the hood hinges again. When I install the hood hinges on the body are there supposed to be any washers between the body and the hinge and does a washer go on before the push on clip too?

On my '70 Dart Swinger there were no washer between body and hinge, and no washer between the retainer clip and hinge.

On both a 74 dart sport & 74 valiant, there was a large plastic spacer behind the hood hinge.

Thanks VDART. Maybe mine were missing. It cant hurt to put some kind of spacer on to avoid metal to metal contact. Do you know if anyone sells the clips and spacers?

When I look at those large washers or spacers it looks like they are on the rivet that joins the tow pieces together and not on the actual holes where they mount to the body. Am I missing something? Thanks, Keith
