74 Duster Body Question

-
ahhhh, age old question YES they will fit but you need the entire front clip fenders foward. some other people will chime in and explain in better detail

Yes you can but like what was said you need to change every thing. Bumper and mounts, hood, fenders, grill, rad support ect for it to work. Also if you have the shock type bumper mounts you will need to either drill some hols to mount them and use some bolts with nuts or weld them on. I have done it both ways either will work fin. Every thing else is a bolt on deal. You can even put a Dart front end on like I did wth my 75 and make it in to a Demon.

the car I am currently building is a 74 and I changed it over to "look" like a 70-71- 72...the front fenders (needed for grille brackets ),grille,bumper/mounts , hood...all bolt ons ...no muss--no fuss...if you want to do the rear...it takes a little surgury to replace the now available tail/tail lights(I did it w/70 panel from wrecked donor ) for the rear bumper I simply discarded the rather wide and heavy rear bumper and shock absorbing mounts...plated over the hole where the shock stuff went and bolted up 72 rear bumper brackets and bumper...shazaaaam!!!

P.S....like brother John always says..."you can put a helicopter motor in a submarine ...If you got enough money"

I found a complete front of a 72 duster in the junk yard. in decent condition. the rest of the car looks like a semi ran over it. Can get it cheap. Thanks for letting me know.
