74 duster fenders ?

What are differences between the 70 duster front fenders and the 74 duster fenders ? Are they completely different or can I use 74 duster fenders on my 70 with a little work. I don't care about originality.

Cmcdermo, it is my understanding that there is a difference in some of the mounting locations. I don't know this to be 100% accurate. Was told I could not use earlier model year fenders on my '75 Duster but I also think it won't be too difficult to modify them to work. I will find out for certain soon as I have purchased good fenders from California for my ride but have not had an opportunity, yet, to test fit them. Good luck and let us know what you had to do to make them work.

Its all about how the grille bolts up. The 70-2 have a little bracket where the grille support mounts to. The 73+ do not have that provision. I have not noticed any other differences between the 72-76 fenders. Other than the bracket, the markers set the 70/1 apart with different markers.
