A few guys keep telling people they can run 275 tires, and I have tried to help others- 255/60/15 on a 8" with 4 1/4- don't go bigger or you will have problems. People listen to them and then have problems

yeah it would have been better to go 255. The 275s do fit on my car with the correct back spacing though but it is close.

you might try the 1/2" inboard spring kit from Dr. Diff......no mini-tubbing, simple job to remove/relocate the spring perches (moving spring inward) inward 1/2".
