76 manual transmission question

I am looking at a 76 manual transmission probly out of an aspen or something to put in my 67 dart and i just wanted to know if they made a NON overdrive transmission after they redesigned the cars for 76.

any info would be apreciated i am new to mopars and would like to learn.

I believe they were all OD by then...Look for a HUGE front bearing retainer (You need the matching bellhousing)...and if the side levers are still on it the front one will be pointing Down if it is an OD trans...which in my opinion SUCK due to the wide ratios. HA

Yea i dont want an overdrive tranny and somebody could have easily put the levers on wrong thats why i wanted to know if they even made them non overdrive
