I have a rustfree 77 dodge shorty cargo van that i purchased a few years ago from nc & started to restore but have lost interest. It was purchased from the original owner & comes with the original title, owners manual & shop manual. I drove it home & it rode real nice but the 318 ended up having low oil pressure & since i had planned on putting a 340 in it anyways,i didn't mind & junked the motor & trans. I had the outside bead & sandblasted which cost me $1100 to have done, not to mention all the parts i have picked up for it since i bought it. I have about $3,000 in it but any offer around $1000 would make me happy for just the van & all needed to put it back together. If you want the extras, they are extra. I have (not included) a set of new small block headers, drink tray, nos window louvers,8 3/4 rear (rare for vans),new sending unit, hippie dodge floor mats,i could fill the van with all the extra stuff

it doesn't come with 2 of the wheels so you will need to bring 2 with you when you come to tow it away,it has the mopar/ford 4.5 bolt pattern. It rolls real nice & is an easy project. I have everything needed to put it back together good luck & happy bidding. Cash is king & pick up only,i may take a trade, just no more vehicles

i also have a set of turbine wheels for an extra charge

Solid as a rock,no rot & doors close like new still. I have to say,I drove it all the way here from NC & the stock 318 moved it pretty damn good.

Those vans are super cool and I've never seen a more solid one! I've got a 360 sitting here for it...
I really like the van!
Good luck with the sale.

Thanks,I'm getting out of projects for a while & just getting rid of everything

Well Sedanman, that is one solid van!!! I'm gonna have to show this thread to Nella!! You see, she uses a wheelchair and right now we have a GMC van that is getting on in the years. My idea is to take an old van such as this and turn it into her liftvan, something we can plan on keeping much longer than the tin can vans of today. What kind of items would you be looking for in a trade?? I live in Michigan, so picking it up would not be a problem. Let me know and maybe we can come up with a deal on this!!! Geof

@ cosgig, that would be cool to see & that lift would probably bolt right in. you have a pm

cosig, if you are able to buy the van with out selling the gtx, i would like to donate 50.00 bucks to the good cause.. if i could get a paypal address................merry x-mas

Just caught this thread. Awesome van, would make a cool ride for nella!

I would love to pitch something in on the cause but unfortunately I can't at the moment.

But If you need any help with it Geof let me know if there is anything I can do....being that you and I are not that far apart

on the hood where the dodge emblems go, i would put NELLA. ! IT WOULD LOOK KILLER

A38,he is very interested in those for this van.I showed him this pic of my old 77 Street van I had.

Thanks, that is a factory Street Van with all factory parts minus running boards. The sunroofs even had a rubber gasket that had a mopar part #,under the hood had the options tag that stated "Street Van Package"
