Went to the yard yesterday and just in are a 78 Magnum and 78 Power Wagon.
Let me know if interested in any parts.

Can't believe someone let the magnum go. The engine is even rediculously clean for the year.
Pics below.

I see tons of rare parts on that Magnum, should buy up that 4bbl carb and kickdown linkage set-up, bucket seats, floor shift set-up, disc brake stuff....lots of stuff should be saved.

The cruise control is a bolt in for your Valiant. Just need to get all of it. Easy stuff to do.

New rotors an brakes. Rotors are smooth without a single ridge anywhere. Looks like they were new and jus have some surface rust. Brake pads are new.

All that Magnum front brake stuff including spindles is a direct bolt on for A bodies both early and late.

Will post the rest of the pics in a little bit. I can only do one at a time on my phone for some reason and its taking forever!
Will put them on computer and upload from there.

I didnt know the spindles off the late B body magnum would fit an a body. I did swap some 79 cordoba 11.75" discs and 2&3/4" piston calipers onto my 74 A body spindles. But had to use the cordoba caliper brackets, and the longer caliper bracket bolts.

Yup. They will bolt right on. You just need the 73-76 A body disc brake upper control arms.

Nice find, these kind of parts are getting hard to find in yards in my area. Would you check the condition of the steps behind the cab if you get a chance. Been looking for a decent set.
I used to love going to the old yards with a box of tools to get the parts to build my cars. Those days are gone around here. Crushers took em all.

Wow, ya learn something new every day. Hmmm since these are a little more readily available in my local bone yard, and should work w 67 up A body LCAs , and tubular A body uppers. A disc brake A body front end is still easily doable.
