8.25 Sure Grip unit for 2.45's. Never used.

Never used 8.25 SG unit for 2.45 gears. Bought from a member here a while back and just never got around to putting them in. $100 shipped.

Here is a pic. It does have a tiny bit of flash rust from sitting which doesn't hurt it at all. Sorry for the crappy cell phone picture.

From what I remember there are two 8.25 sure grip units. one for up to 2:45 & a second for the rest. I'm sure another member can be more specific.

Yes...All pm's replied. It only works with 2.45 ring and pinion. They were specific Sure Grips. On the 8 1/4, the 2.71 SG unit fits that and anything numerically higher.

I could be wrong, but I was informed a while ago that an 8.25 with 2.45 gears had it's own housing as well.
