I have a 741 case 3.55 sure grip I just pulled out of my dart. The gears do make whine. I'm not sure why or what is causing it, thats how it was when I got it. The pinion seal leaks and will need to be replaced. The suregrip worked great and the diff is useable as-is. I removed it to install a 742 I have with 3.73 gears.

I'm located in Oklahoma City. I travel to Little Rock, Arkansas often for work. I dont want to ship at this time. I'm asking $500, feel free to make an offer.

I'll post up some more pic of the gear teeth if that helps. I DID say in the ad that it whines... So maybe the gears are bad. I'm not a ring and pinion expert. I do know that I have gone 12.60's in the 1/4 and put several thousand miles on my car with that diff in it. So the gears aren't too trashed.
