8 3/4 Axle Bearing Collar/retainer Q's

Can I reuse the collar that holds the rear wheel bearings on the axle or is it junk after being pressed on and off? If I can't reuse it, anyone know where they're available?
Also, is there supposed to be a foam gasket between the backing plate and housing or just between the axle bearing flange and backing plate? THANK YOU!
 
usually the collars get destroyed when taking off the old bearing. Machine shops usually cut them to save time . All the bearing kits I have ever bought have new collars in them already (never bought just the bearings before)

As for the foam gasket my 68 service manual shows one on both sides of the backing plate
