I was under the impression when I bought my car it had 3.91's. Going through the paperwork and putting together a timeline of all the work that had been done by the previous owners I in fact have 3.23's which I'm happy about. I plan on doing a lot of highway driving in the Spring to car cruises so for me that is the best gear. My tires are 25.4" tall. I also have a 727 transmission.
