I'm buying one sight unseen AGAIN..tells me its 43.2in center hole perch to perch..and 50.3 backing plate to plate..i'm took a 7 1/4 out

hopefully it comes with ubolts and shock plates. 7.25 and 8.75 dont mix.

Here's a chart trhat might help you out.....I hope you can read it...If you took out a 7 1/4 you will need a new drive line also.

Nevermind, misread the measurement you posted. I don't know where that 50.3 number comes from though. I'd ask him to measure it again, outside surfaces flange-to-flange. And send a picture. Preferably two or three. Everyone has digital cameras these days, even in their cell phones. Sight unseen is a bad thing.

Just have one made up at a driveline shop. Probably around $100-$200, deopending on how much of the parts you provide. Cost me $110, supplied all the yokes and U-Joints from stuff I already had onhand. They can build you a stronger shaft from better tubing material and balance it. Best way to go for high horsepower applications.
