Here is a cheap spool: A Welded open diff with berarings and races for the 8.75 / 8 3/4" Rear

I have cleaned it up and every thing looks as it should for this type of part.
The welds are all cracked from use, but it does not turn the spiders/ side gears, so it should do proper 2WD burnouts instead of the one wheel peel.
