Can drums that came off of a 8.75" rear fit on a 7.25" rear? If not what is the difference? Just for my knowledge. I want to upgrade my 9" rear drums to 10".

The 10" small bolt pattern drums are all the same, fit wise, some have a flare but that doesn't conflict with anything.

The 10" 8.75 drum will fit if you use the corresponding 10" 7.25 backing plates.
The 7.25 and the 8.75 housing ends use different bolt patterns, plus the 7.25 uses only 4 holes to mount the backing plate.

All V-8 cars with a small bolt pattern 7.25 will work.

This is assuming you are using the small bolt circle (4 inch) axles.

Mark.

Yes mark, I do have the SBP wheels. So if I find 10" 7.25 backing plates I'll be able to use the 10" 8.75 set-up? Sounds good, Thanks!

If I remember correctly, my 8 3/4 used a 5 hole backing plate and the old 7 1/4 I had on my Barracuda before, had a 4 hole backing plate.
