833 b body to 833 a body

Recently purchased a 833 b body trans. Wasn't paying enough attention... how involved is it to change the tail a shaft with the a-body parts? I've done GM transmissions before so working on them doesn't scare me. Trans is a 1968 cast case tail has one mount location infront of the trans crossmember mount location.

I think they are different lengths, so you would have to swap out the main shaft as well. Might be better off making a shifter adapter plate or trading it for an A body trans.

Its a b-body only trans I don't have the rear set of mounts
