Custom built 318 with Wiseco Forged Pistons, Comp Camps 614, Demon 625 Carb - balanced rotating, (4k spent)


Buy it and I'll throw in shorty stainless steel headers and all the spare parts for the car you could want

I also have Mirada 10 spoke wheels and cop wheels if you're interested

I've had this car since 2013 and I put a lot of work into it. In 2019 it got a custom built roller cam 318 with forged pistons and a nice little cam that really woke things up. But now it's time to sell it and move on. I'm giving this two weeks before I junk it so please buy it and at least take this beautiful motor home before it turns into toasters on amazon.

Car is located in New York on Long Island. When snow hits the ground in NY it goes to the scrap yard. Title in Hand

Could I drive this back home, 1/2 way across the US? My daughter needs my daily driver so I'm on the hunt and this would be a hell of a daily.
What is the closest airport, LOL.

The motor is in the car and has 10,000 miles. I bought it from the guy who built it and it has 2,000 miles on it then. This car was my daily driver until I parked it and I personally took a 2,000 mile road trip in the day after I dropped in the motor. My buddy keeps it at his place where he starts it and drives it once a week.

I would not hesitate to drive it cross country. The only minor issue it has is a coolant leak near the timing case. That has to be pulled and a new gasket put in but I drove it with the leak for a year no issues.

Does it need work? Yes. The cosmetics have gotten rough from sitting but it's reliable as hell.

Car also has 5 leaf springs and all the heavy duty brackets from Firm Feel

The Mirada wheels and Cop wheels are sold separately. I also have a set of '302 swirl port heads and a set of Magnum heads. Make me an offer cause I want them off my hands too.

Why the threat of being junked? Is there something wrong with it you're not telling? Something doesn't add up
 
2.2 gear and I have 2.7 and a sure grip to go with it as well as the speedometer gear. The AC was completely redone with a NOS compressor in 2019 but will need to be serviced again.

All new upgraded brakes on the front and maybe 5,000 miles on the rear brakes. 5 leaf rear springs done in 2019 with all heavy duty firm feel hardware.

As for the junker questions I live in NYC and can't keep it around. It's costing me money to keep it insured and stored at a friend's place. I have a daily driver and I don't need it anymore. The frame is pristine but the quarter panels are rusty. The rest of the car is pretty clean. Anyone who want to come kick the tires is welcome to.
 
So a lot of interest but no one willing to take it. I'm calling the scrap yard on Saturday. Please come get it before I do that. I'd rather not, once was painful enough.
