9,25 + 8,75 axle shafts

I´ve told, that years ago in some magazine (Mopar Action or Mopar Muscle) was article, where an 9,25 was modified to use 8,75 axle shafts. Does anyone have that copy?

That's interesting, don't remember it saying that but I will look in in my collection. I know they used 8.75" axle ends, but don't remember them using axles as well. I will get back to you.

If it's the one you are talking about, it was 8.75" housing ends and custom Moser axles. I suppose they could have used 8.75" axles (don't know what the spline count is) but the article said custom.

Doesn't look likely. Seems that the 9.25" axle has 31 splines, the 8.75" axle has 30.

Ok, it wasn´t easy deal... ale:

So, if I want 9,25 to my Dart, I need axle ends from 8,75 and custom axles from Moser or cut + re-spline some C-bodyaxles...
