Are the 70-72. 9" brakes the same as the earlier A bodies ?

Think they have a wider shoe, at least on the front Drums vs like a '67.

These drums are wider than I was expecting. So you may be correct on that. I wonder if with the matching knuckles that I got with em it will all change overto the early As.
Pretty sure the 70-72 spindles take the small ball joints.
