90 degree adaoter install question.

Which way is the filter supposed to face when using a 90 degree adapter? Pics would be nice. Thanks!

Yes, most common is facing the rear but it can be angled down a little for clearance, it can actually be mounted any way if needed.

Ok, Let's try it again....

If you look closely, you have to pay attention to the trans stick tube. You may want to wait to secure until after you bolt the trans up with the dipstick tube, so you don't interfere with the trans stick tube....

this is sound advice, I didnt and now gettin a filter on and off is a lil tricky.

Gaskets are still available, at any parts store. Or delete the leaky thing like I did & put it to the block.
There was a tech article from Mopar Action, few years ago on how to do it. I have part #'s needed around somewhere.
