90 Degree Adapter question......

The 273 i had didnt have a adapter, i think maybe it did but not when i got it. I tracked down an adapter and noticed that on the block it has one or the 2 holes plugged. Is that for the regular oil filter or do i need to unplug that hole for the adapter?

There should be three holes, only one should be plugged. The oil will feed the filter through the non threaded hole and will exit through the hollow 3/4" bolt to feed the engine. You did get the bolt with the adapter?
