904 driveshaft question

A buddy ask me this question and I can't find the info he wants. He is swapping a 318 with a 904 into a 76 Duster that had a /6 and 904. Will the column linkage and drive shaft from the slant work with the 318- 904? The 7.25 is staying in the Duster for now.

Drive shaft yes. Shift linkage will be different. At least the kick down portion will be.

Assuming the trail shafts are the same length than the driveshaft should work. The shifter linkage will work but as stated above the kick down will not work. I ended up using a LoKar kick down when I did my /6-904 to 440-727 swap. Worked out nice once I realized how to adjust it.
