904 filler tube on 727?

Hi,

Hoping to tap som of the FABO expertise.

My '66 Dart GT had a 904 trans but now it has a 727. I still have the filler tube from the 904 but wonder if it will show the correct level reading in the 727.

When I insert the level stick, the "fill 1 pint" mark is right where the O-ring is, 5/8" (16mm) above the end of the tube.

Can anyone tell me if this'll work in the 727 or if I need to get a filler tube/stick specifically for the 727?

Does anyone have a 727 where they could pull the filler tube out and check how far up the "low" mark on the dip stick is?

It would be much appreciated.
