I have a 74 Duster that I am restoring/ converting. I have the car stripped down and almost ready to start on the drive line parts. I have bought a 4 speed trans and a center hump to convert. I am not sure how to move forward with cutting the floor. Can any one help?

I see this is an old post, so I guess I wont bother asking the same question.

Maybe try to get ahold of passon performance or brewers performance, they might have a template for the floor or at least give you the dimensions to cut out the floor.
They both sell 4 speed conversion parts, this is where i would start first.
I hope this helps.
Tom.

I did my conversion last year on a 74 Duster. Here are some pics. I placed the hump on the trans tunnel and found that it only fits one way and dictates where it goes. I then drew an outline around the outside of the hump with a Sharpie. Then I cut 1/2 inside of that line. There are a few spot welds to undo as well on top of the T bar crossmember.
