904 GURU wanted,LA area

Haveing issues with my slant six cars 904.Was in sacramento last weekend and ran a 13.009 at 103.813.I shift at 5800,but saw the tach go over 6500 a couple times,never has shifted hard.Want a good trans person locally that can help set this straight.Stock pistons,rods and valve train wont take this abuse.I go tru the traps at 6200,4.56 gears.Motor has 197 rear wheel hp right now,new motor will bee closer to 300 so I want to do this once right.Car is a 62 Valiant chop top and weighs 2475 with driver,Any guidence,advice,recomendations welcome.Thanks,Guzzi Mark

try Dave at ProTrans. I used to work for him and he uses 904's for everything. he even puts 904 internals in 727s in Hemi cars. he's located here in Lancaster, Ca.
