Only thing on my car I havent done personally is the 904 trans.Have had 2 different people do it and both have failed.1st one lasted 50 passes,2nd one about 200 before it cooked the front clutches.This is a slant six car with about 280 rwhp that runs in the mid 11s all motor.I need better guideness,any hints or tips welcomed.Guzzi Mark

replace the large single wound spring in front clutch pac with a 24 spring kit...

upgrade clutch pac in front to 5 disc if not...and 4 disc in rear ...

John Cope for tranny work or parts. You need to replace a couple things like 70AAR is mentioning. The front clutch retainer (that upgrades the clutch return springs and the # of discs, plus completely removes the posibility of tranny explosion). Also the 2nd gear servo assembly and possibly the pump support and (if used) the iron sealing rings on it.
