904 lock up.

finally got an 01 ram for my 5.2 magnum transplant. dont want a power house, just a more modern cruise so i'm going to use a 904 with lock up. found one in an 86 5th ave. will that year have the lock up?

...most of them were....bout 90-95%....taxis and police had the non lockup

If I'm not mistaken a way to tell is a lockup trans. will have a small switch on the back side of the case with a single wire going to it. It's to disengage the lockup when you apply the brakes. Don't confuse the 3 wire neutral switch on the drivers side, I'm talking a much smaller single wire switch farther back.
