1985 Diplomat, 904 or whatever variant there of. Looking for a shift kit. Mancini says there isn’t one for the lockup. B&M says 10228, TransGo say TF-2 will work for LU or non LU.
I need a firm answer, Will a shift kit work in a 904 LU or no?
I’ve chased the threads to no avail.
BTW, the converter says it’s a lockup.
    Step up tranny guys!

    Thanks!!

Do you want the lock up? I have had great luck with the TF2, never used one on a lock up though

Turbo Action. 17156. Worked in my lock up. It disables the lock up function.

Just drill out the 1-2 and 2-3 shift holes in the separator plate to at least .125.

Would like to keep the lockup if I can. Just thought if I do any highway cruising it might be good to have. I have a 727 VB at my disposal, it’s non.

Wanna scratch the tires on shifts. It’s a bit of a barge, but with the engine mods, it’s should have plenty of power.
