904 Shift Kit Home-Installation

I was wondering if there might be a thread with illustrations, OR a site / publication available for A-Body enthusiasts, that will show them how to install a shift-kit in their good 904 transmissions.....(OR 727's, for that matter)............

From what I remember back 35 years ago, it was not too difficult a job in your own garage if you were clean, careful, and took your time.

I'd appreciate any links or illustrated instructions available.................... Doc

hmm, im doing that right now actually. ive got the valve body ripped apart and cleaned on my table. just waiting on the shift kit to arrive

most kits come with a fairly good instructions and parts to do the job. Including drill bits and stuff. I did mine in my garage on a nice clean working surface in half a day or so taking my time. I believe some even come with dvd or vcr instructions.
