There's 2 ways to tell if it is a lockup. You can look up the P number stamped on the side of the pan rail, drivers side of the pan rail, right below the shift mechanism. You can also pull the converter out of it and see if the input shaft has a tip that is much smaller than the rest of the shaft. The small tip will be about 1/2 to 3/4 length.

From the pics you have posted, your trans was listed by the selling business as being for a 318. I would pack up the transmission and all receipts and documentation and take it right back to them and say "Sorry guys, this ain't what you told me it was"- and get ahold of the BBB if they give you any grief.
