904 transmission ID

I am looking at a 904 based transmission and was wondering if anyone knew if it is a 999. The number on the rail is PK4028814. I am hoping it has the low gear set and 5 front clutch pack. Thanks for the info. Craig

The PK4028814 was installed with 318. I believe the 999 was only behind a 360. Here are the 999 numbers according to the Direct Connection Chassis Book.
'74-'75=3681844

'76-'77=4028465

'78=4028878 non lock-up
4028815 lock-up
4058111 lock-up

'79=4130515 lock-up
4130645 lock-up

No. nothing special. Just a standard 904.

It's an '81-2 904 standard duty lock up converter type.....nothing special.

Was just reading the article above. It says that in '81 all tranny's received the lower gearset. Does this sound correct? If so, it may be of some use after all.
