904 Transmission Question

Is the 64 Barracuda push button transmission the same as a 65 Barracuda floor cable shifted transmission?

There are minor differences in the valve body but they both have front & rear oil pump & the geartrain set-up is identical.

Yes I am answering my own question. 64 push button transmission will not work in a 65 console floor shifted Barracuda the transmissions are both 904's and shifted with a cable and have the same shift pattern. the difference is the cable adapter in the valve body the size of the cable is different.
