A arms do not work off an F body onto an A body. The spindle with the caliper mount bracket will work on an A body, using 73 up A body A Arms (control arms). The FJM-body spindle is slightly different. You will have to use grade 8 bolts with grade 8 nuts (fine thread) to attach the A body lower ball joint to the spindle, as the spindle hooks to the ball joint differently. I believe the FJM body spindle is a few milimeters taller which affects suspension geometry ever so slightly which some claim helps geometry and some claims it is less desirable. There is also some other difference that very slightly affect suspension geometry but I cant remember that detail. I pulled FJM spindles off a Cordoba complete with 11.75 inch rotor setup. Using the grade 8 bolts, 73 up A body upper and lower control arms, A body upper and lower ball joint (73 up). Works excellent. I realize this will not help your quest for A arms but it will help your quest for disc brakes on your A body.
