A-Bodies...Big Motors / New Hemi Duster - FINAL ASSEMBLY

-
My nephew races 410's mostly at Fremont and Attica...won his first feature at Attica last year! He's run Limaland, Eldora, Sharon ,Pa...even Charlotte

I think it is like his 4th year....9th or 10th car....gotta learn.

I'll look into that.....when we go to Fremont, we like the Tackle Box 2....just a little dive along the river....my favorite place for lake perch.

Spring is coming. How about a list of updates since last seen
at the 2012 Mopar Nationals? Where will you be (shows) this year?

Coming up with a flat trailer is not really a problem. He needs a truck to pull it
through the hilly country. The V8 Crew Cab Dakota would work great in the flatlands.
Do you think it could swing it in the hilly part? (Mark? Denny?)

For what it's worth, I pulled my 6,500 lb. travel trailer (plus added junk inside, so over 7k lbs) with a 4.7 second gen Durango through there last fall. It did fine. Not like a hemi, but good enough.

FABO members have kept me busy building front ends for their projects...while using the basic platform, very few are "off the shelf" builds, but to be honest, I really enjoy the challenges.

That said, I still got a chance to tweek a couple of things on my Duster. It took until Oct/Nov until the front carb issue was remedied and it ran like a Hemi should. From there I changed to Flowmaster mufflers w/ 2.5" tailpipes/tips. Also dialed in the speedo to read correctly. Only item still in progress is replace the poly inserts with rubber bushings in the motor mounts for that smooth coffee getter ride. pretty much everything done was to enhance ride/performance and not effect the look.

This year the HDK/ Duster promotional tour is set for the Mopar Nats, the Hemi reunion , Norwalk, Carlisle....and hopefully more

Great. I will look for you guys whenever I can make it to one of those venues.

I was in Pittsburg on business and was able to stop in to HemiMark's restaurant
but unfortunately he was "at Donnies" and I did not get the grand tour.

Food was great though and I hope to make it again, after calling ahead first.

Its just you......... I F'ed up big time!

Denny knows, BUT Weeb does it. It's not hard, Weeb did my hood. Just pack some grease in your hand and reach down along the inside of the hood hinges....you need a small hand with a lot of grease. Don't be bashful. I'll take pic if you need them.
