Went to the local track with some FABO members yesterday for some T&T before the seasons end.:DThe weather was good, but had many delays due to leak downs from a Street car event(lots of cars). We only got a few passes in,but I still enjoyed the company with my FABO brothers.
The 383 BB Duster belongs to 75Blueduster(Mike)then my 66 Dart 410c.i(Scott)then Nice69(Dave),s 416 sb Dart.Sorry no pics of launches, racing as we were all racing or waiting to race. Thanks for the fun times guys!:burnout:
Oh the Duster ran 11.31,s,I ran 10.94,s and Daves 69 Dart ran 11.10,s:D

I just have to share this new lane wheel, for the money runs they spin it and that determines the lane you get... This was a good race, Barracuda won  6.45 to a 6.49... close eh!!

Thank you for lighting a fire under me to get to the track pettybludart.
and letting me share a day here :glasses7:

"The Blue Team" That is certainly a definitive mix of gorgeous A bodies, and fast, too!!!

I'm guessin that track above would never pass NHRA LOL

Not even close.. LOL, it's the oldest running track in America and a tun of fun.
This old track has been blest, no one has been hurt in over 50 years.
We had a 4.98 pass today, this was a 1/4 mile track till 1972, started in 62.
It's just a 15 mile drive for me and I have been enjoying it for 34 years.

Looks like more blue team here, ( nothing pretty ) but the black nose 68 barracuda runs 6.50 and the other 69 blue barracuda runs 7.0, I don't know what that would be in a 1/4 mile but they are plenty fast and fun.

Thanks for sharing your day of fun at George Rays MeMike.:DSome end of september fun going on everywhere.LOL.The 6.50 1/8 would be about a 10.30 pass and the 7.0 a low 11 sec pass.Nice cars, but no cages??is always safety first!

Thats to bad you guys didnt stick around for today... I was there and spent most of the day standing next to the wall playing with my new camera.

I did get a couple shots of some A bodies....

And a red headed step child.... (Red, White & Blue Haired?)

I agree :glasses7: looks like just the 6.50 car has a 4 point cage. everyone that runs 8.0 just have to have a helmet and I think a 3 point cage for 6.50, then fire suits are not optional from 6.50 down.. you must wear one.

A lot of risk for sure. it tells you as soon as you get there :D

I love the last picture
