my car is a 1973 dart with the stock 318 engine and an automatic. now im going to convert it over to manual and i need to know what flywheel to get. i think i know but id like to be 100% sure. the 318 is internaly balanced correct? so i need a flywheel for an internal balanced engine but then how many teeth? 130? im just guessing the teeth by what the brewers website says.

http://www.brewersperformance.com/products.asp?id=45

why are the 440 magnum 6 pack flywheels 130 teeth while the 400/440 flywheel is 143 teeth?

and i have one more question.

brewers has resurfaced flywheels for 200 bucks but i found one on ebay for cheaper
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_rdc=1&item=300337685604&viewitem=

is the resurfaced one from brewers stronger or something? which one should i go for? im planning on dropping a higher horsepower engine in sometime down the road.

any advice would be great.

To tell you the truth brewer just wants more money.

I pay $25 for a resurfaced flywheel with exchange where I live.

I think it's around $50-$75 with no exchange.

318=internally balanced.
130 tooth is what you want.
