Told him Cloyes cheapo works ,doesn't last long ..
Also was a fan of Edelbrock ( the German / Rolon chain..
Told him a c note ,might buy decent product .Not necessarily Mopar ,what's reliable anymore?....
 
I use the Edelbrock timing chains, never an issue! 65'
 
You might want to check out the Melling steel double-row. I just installed one on my RB engine and it seemed pretty good, although I can't attest to its longevity.
 
Not all motors have the same cam to crank center line. Depending on the cam tunnel o crank bore placement this measurement will change. You can get different chains to fit you application perfect. Roll master seams to always keeps its size with out stretch. There is a difference between a roller chain and a true roller chain. if you can't spin the roller it is not a true roller they are junk.
