(Unless your air cleaner is flat) You need to project the conical shape onto a flat surface. Someone that does sheetmetal duct work will know how it is done. Some good CAD programs can do it too.

I have considered the shape, and am waiting to get a tin to play with. also, I would not sell any of these before I can make it work correctly. I am going to be the test monkey.
 
Hey everyone, I have started doing a little legwork to see if I can make it work. I talked to a couple of places that do vinyl wraps, and they seem to think that it is possible to get it to work with the contour of the tin. So, with that said, I would like to see if anyone is actually interested in these. The set up cost for just one is something I am not sure I want to pursue, but if we can order a enough, then the cost would be better for all involved. I am waiting for a second bid, so just testing the waters right now for interest.
 
I think I may still have one of the adhesive decals in my stash from @bamacuda from a few years back. Would a tracing of the outline shape help? You wouldn't have to reinvent the wheel or go through trial & error fitment issues.

I'm not sure, I'll have to talk to the graphics guy to see if it would help. Thank you so much for the kind offer!! I will have to contact you one of these days about doing the wrinkle finish on the rest of the air cleaner.
 
would anybody be able to make this decal but instead of 426 HEMI HEAD, have it say 383 DUAL QUAD?

I know I am (a few years) late to the party, but did you work out the 225 Four Barrel Decal for your dome style air cleaner? I just bought that same air cleaner for my Dart and then found this post while looking for a source for a one off decal. Curious what you ended up doing. Thanks.

I can't tell from the photo, is that a top, exposed filter and a bottom or is it like the old unsilenced Mopar air cleaners that is open around the bottom of the rim of the top, which covers the face of the element? like this:
