First 2 coats of 2K filler primer today. Who's coming to help block this thing?? I feel there is about 5 spots that need a little more attention but, overall this thing looks pretty good. With any luck color will be going on in about a week...ish...lol

Blocked most of the car today. Found some small areas that needed a little work but, overall this should be ready for its last round of primer hopefully this week. Maybe paint the week after.

I love your car. There was one parked in a driveway unregistered in 1983, same year and color combination and I would drool over it on my way too school. It was the car that started my love of Dusters

Well...i have shot the door jambs, trunk, bottom of trunk lid, bottom of hood and rear valance. I'm hoping to shoot the car on Sunday....Hoping is the key word...lol.

Today was paint day...Clear didnt go on as nice as i was shooting for but, nothing some wet sanding and buffing wont cure. Let it cure then, start sanding and buffing. I still need to paint the hood and front valance.

Got the rest of the body wet sanded and buffed today, put on emblems, grille and, door locks. It supposed to warm up a little here this week so I will paint the hood and front valance. I hope to have the stripe on and possibly all my part finished by the weekend. When I'm done it goes to my buddies house where the motor and transmission will be put in. The owner stopped by today and he is extremely happy with how the car looks....its the first time he has seen it since it has been painted so, that's good I'm glad he is happy.
That Dart is looking Good.
I like silver on the Dart. I’m daydreaming And planning my 70 right now and I’m thinking a “high impact” color or silver.

I would of went with a brighter silver. I'm not a huge fan of A4 silver but, its what he wanted. Its going to have a black rump stripe but, my buddies and I think red or burgundy might have looked better.

I dig a deep maroon color too. I think that silver with a vinyl top and back stripe would be gorgeous! You do great work. Hopefully mine will look something similar within the next decade or so, haha.

Painted the hood and front valance tonight...shooting to have my part of this deal done by the weekend. Gonna be a hell of a push but maybe I can make it!!!

Wet sanded and buffed the hood tonight, put on the tail stripe and, back bumper . Getting closer to leaving my house!!

Put on the front valance, splash sheilds, scoops on the hood and, trimmed out the tail stripe for the marker lights...that are on backorder!!!
