I HAVE some serious camera gear, but can't carry much of it around any more, and some time back had bought a Canon refurb SL-1 which is a VERY small lightweight body. Takes the same lenses as my 7D's, but way smaller and lighter. I liked it a lot. A few weeks ago I left it on the back of the GMC, and it either "walked off" or I drove off and it fell off.

I finally went back to the Canon refurb site and ---would have bought another, but they didn't have any in refurb---so I bought a T7 instead.

So TONIGHT, I'm looking through some boxes for some unrelated "stuff" and there---safe and sound--was the little SL-1 LOLOL

The difference between the SL-1 and a 7D is a bit more pronounced

Are we related? I just bought some brake parts, only to find when I went to put them away, that I'd already bought the parts and there they were, laughing at me as I added their twin brothers to my heap-o-parts.

I fer sure have stuff I can't find, and other stuff I know I've forgotten I even HAVE The other day I ran across an FBO distributor advance plate kit, which I'd bought 'just because'

I love the camera hobby also and I am a canon man film to digital. I was thinking of going the referb route but haven’t yet. My old 10d is still going strong.
