Call MSD tech line. I have had them rebuild a couple of their distributors and a couple of old style 6AL boxes. The results are great and the prices weren't bad. They have guys there that do nothing but rebuild their older stuff.

I had the same box except not the "C". I called MSD several years ago about doing a repair. They declined, said they didn't have the parts (yeah, right). A member over at slantsix.org did the repair for me. Shipping cost me more than the repair. If I remember right it was just a bad transistor.

ALL - bar none, of my MSD boxes that went back for repair have failed and most failed faster than when they were new OOTB.
