A New Guest Has Arrived........

The next pics were from a private tour we had of a very cool, one of a kind collection a friend of ours owns! A wonderful collection of vintage cars, some are the only remaining example left in the world and most do see drive time. All the old signs are original too, some he paid good $ for, some cost him more $ than it takes to restore a car. Many cars are unrestored and many not pictured cause there was just too much. This guy is so knowledgeable that people from around the world contact him for info and help, infact, Jay Leno is always in contact with him and he has seen his collection and made an appearance on Leno's "Tonight Show" :glasses7:

I did my drivers ed in one of those same driving simulators, that bring's back some memories, and wow that is a nice collection holy crap!

Mike even learned about the Pan Car that was built in St. Cloud from 1917-1919....there are about 12 known to exist and 5 are in St. Cloud...the "Pan Motor Company" letters are the originals from the plant including a ton of other stuff.

Wow, thanks Keith for sharing, that's some collection you had the privilege of seeing. Those Franklins were ahead of their time ("the doctor's car.") That must be a later model when they made the grille vertical instead of leaning back.

That curved dash ("in my merry Oldsmobile") Olds, you can imagine in 1903 it scared people who were used to horses, to go 25 mph, perched in that small seat.

Wow,that's beautiful Keith. MeMike, Pete & yourself, had one hell of a good day.

Plenty of cool stuff. I was overloaded just with the pictures. Must really be something in person. Glad you guys are having a blast.

Mike arrived safe back at home today, he had a great time and so did we, memories that will last forever :glasses7:

I know Mike took tons of pictures and I hope he posts the ones he has. He also went to the Mopar show here last weekend so that was like icing on the cake for him :D

He met so many new people here, and everybody was happy to meet him and he made everybody smile, so glad he was able to make the trip :glasses7:
