Kitty and I were sitting out in the yard swing tonight enjoying the mild weather. All of a sudden we started seeing lots of lightening bugs everywhere. I mean a LOT of them. I believe Beauregard Lee got it right. We're having an early spring.
He did!No lightning bugs in the Mtns of NC yet, but robins have been in the yard for a week or so. So, yep....I think Beau probably nailed it!

I don't know about lightning bugs, but i sure remember I remember the "love bugs" clogging to grill and radiator, like a black cloud !Used to see hundreds on a given evening in OH.
In FL we typically see 1 or 2 in about 3 years.
I saw my first yesterday. Ick.We had kind of a light love bug season last year.
Usually that means a real heavy season this year.
...and usually after a heavy season, we get two seasons the next year!
It's not us that are correct. It's God. We're having an early spring. He has spoken.I hope you guys are correct about an early spring. We deserve it here. We usually get a good thaw at least once. Usually in February. Got more snow than usual this February. I have not seen dirt in 4 months now.
God hasn't even mentioned it around here then. I need to see a dang Robin. lolIt's not us that are correct. It's God. We're having an early spring. He has spoken.
